Your Luggage Carrier will never be the same once you go Splash-Proof! Here at Benma Tyvek Pouch Collection, packing is an artform (some may call it an obsession), either way, we have it down to a science and are here to share our fool-proof tactics and magic tricks on how to pack it light with us!
First step, let’s talk luggage carrier. Traveling light means avoiding checked baggage whenever possible, so be sure you have the right size luggage case. We prefer an international-sized 4-Wheel. If you’re planning a trip throughout Europe, Australia, or Asia, it’s the safest way to guarantee your bag will meet size compliance.
Once you have your luggage sorted, it’s time to get packing! Overpacking is not an option when carrying-on, so choose pieces that you can mix, match, and be worn more than once. Lightweight sundresses are always a great choice. You can wear them from day into night, and they weigh next to nothing. A pareo can do quadruple duty as a scarf inflight, a beach blanket, a coverup, and a casual wrap dress. Edit your outfits ruthlessly and don’t bother packing “just in case” items. If you REALLY need something, you can buy it on the road.
Our pouches are a great tool to keep your luggage organized — divide outfits by day or night, or even by activity. You can also separate your intimates, workout gear, swimwear, and toiletries using allocated pouches. To roll or not to roll is up to you, but we tend to prefer the rolling method when packing pouches. This tactic saves space and can also prevent clothes from wrinkling. Now that you have your pouches organized, a simple rule of thumb is to place heavier items on the bottom of your luggage case (where the wheels are), this makes running through airports WAY easier due to weight distribution.
While most of our pouches are great for packing clothes, our mini pouches can be used to create your own inflight essentials kit. We typically pack an eye mask, a Kopari’s Coconut toner face mist, EiR NYC ‘Fresh EiR’ hand sanitizer, essential oils, earbuds, and chapstick. Keep close at hand inflight to arrive well-rested and refreshed.
Wear heavier items on board your flight. Sneakers, joggers/pants, and sweaters take up precious luggage space and since most airplanes get cold inflight, you’ll be good to go from takeoff to landing. Our go-to travel uniform is a pair of Nikes, Vuori joggers, and an Tyvek Collection pullover.
Now that you know how to pack an carry-on luggage case with our Splash-Proof pouches, sit back, relax, and enjoy your travels.
